After all the mayhem of his last caper our super sleuth has lain aside his case folders for the moment to write some memoirs of that most particular mystery, Mystery At The Circus.

Get Set For Mystery At The Circus!


He's back! After his deductive triumph in The Case of the Fallen Star (MudFest Arts Festival, 2009), Mr. E. Solver has returned! This time he's on the hunt for a missing Contortionist, and a host of conniving characters stand between him and the clues he seeks. Can the gentleman super-sleuth solve this latest criminal caper, or will this be one mysterious mystery too fiendish for even he?

Mysterious Finale!


With all Game Days completed - all questions asked - all clues collected - Mysterious Mysteries powered towards its labyrinthine conclusion: a drawing room denouement to end all drawing room denouements!

Using his supreme skills of observation and interrogation, Mr. E. Solver unleashed a barrage of questions, conjecture, and explosive exposition on the assembly of conniving conspirators, subjecting each one in turn to his keen and penetrative powers of deduction.

Revelations abounded as each suspect fell before the scrutiny of the master detective, until only one's culpable guilt remained, and the murderer was revealed - Madame Monet, the mysterious choreographer!

With the villain exposed and the mystery solved, Mr. E. Solver left the festival, nose to the ground, always on the look out for the next... Mysterious Mystery!

Game Day #3


Game Day #3 whirled by like a detective's pen at a detective's notepad convention! And the third and final chance to interrogate our sinister suspects saw a new (and yet familiar) face enter the fray: Mr. E. Solver himself!

With the master sleuth guiding discerning budding detectives through the ins and outs of suspect questioning, the crowds could only look on in awe as the legendary mystery solver matched wits with the craziest criminals ever assembled!

The 3rd Game Day concluded with a flurry of notes and cryptic clues.

Who exactly was it that killed Abigail? Why did she have to die? Where was Madame Monet at the time of her murder? And why didn't Terrance and Lyle hear her screams?

These questions could only be
answered by the keenest, sharpest, most inquisitive, cunning, and skilled of amateur armchair detectives... or at the Grand Finale Denouement!

Hold on to your hats, detectives! The murderer is about to be revealed!

Game Day #2


That's right -- Day #1 has come and gone, and Day #2 is about to commence! Five mysterious suspects are hidden around Melbourne University, each with a piece of the fiendish puzzle in their procrastinating possession. How do you get them? Study the caseboard, pick up a Zine, and locate a suspect. Then all you have to do is ask...

Look out for signposts and chalk outlines pointing you in the right direction. The Caseboard is located outside the Open Stage, in the Arts Centre.

When?
Wednesday 19th, 12pm to 1:30pm.

Madame Monett, the choreographer.
Terrance Turtleson, the writer.
Victoria Valhoon, the star.

Why?
Murder! That's why! Only YOU can solve the mystery, so get sleuthing! A mysterious prize awaits the first detective to successfully crack the case... Solutions can be placed in the drop-box located at the Caseboard.

MURDER!

It's the opening night of Hit The Sky, a big-budget West End musical, and the house is a sell-out. The standing ovation, however, is overshadowed by a grisly murder scene: A talented leading lady has fallen to her death, and police suspect foul play! A collection of curious characters have the motive and opportunity - but only one of them is the killer.

Who murdered Abigail Anderson, and why? Can Mr. E. Solver, legendary super-sleuth and all-round good-guy, crack the case? Can YOU?

Ask the questions. Collect the clues. Crack the case. The game is afoot!

Mysterious Mysteries will be played each Wednesday of Mudfest, from 12pm to 1:30pm. Five suspects are hidden around Melbourne University. Consult the Case Board (located outside the Open Stage, the Art Centre) for clues essential to the case. A mysterious prize awaits the first detective to solve the puzzle!
